STI 8230-SS Steel Smoke Detector Stopper, stainless steel - surface mount

The STI 8230-SS is designed to provide maximum protection for vulnerable detectors while not compromising their effective operation. The matrix of perforations provides access for smoke to the detector as well as a protective shield against vandalism or misuse.

The STI8230-SS is manufactured from heavy duty 18 gauge (1.2mm) stainless steel, which  provides a natural resistance to corrosion. It is ideal for places where food is present as well as in water treatment plants and correctional facilities. The steel gives it strength and durability, protecting detectors which may be frequently vandalised causing high maintenance costs and false fire alarms.

A full fixing kit is supplied with this model.
